Changes which are going to affect 070 UK Personal Numbers
070 Personal Numbers will be discontinued from October 1st, 2019 and all 070 Personal Numbering will become standard pay-as-you-go 07 mobile phone numbers.
Due to changes in Ofcom regulations, 070 Personal Numbers will no longer available after October 1st, 2019.
Existing customers are recommended to move from 070 personal numbers to 087 numbers, as in the next 12 months 070 personal numbers will no longer be free to use after October 1st, 2019 and will become Pay-As-You-Go UK Mobile Numbers, costing the same to call as all other 07 UK mobile numbers.
However those customers wanting to keep their 070 Numbers will still be able to use their 070 Personal Numbers, but you will have to recharge your customer accounts with call credit for all incoming calls and call forwarding etc.

If the UK networks do not do something about this by writing in and expressing your opinions on why 070 Personal Numbers should not be drastically switched to mobile rates, which means no more payback rates for service providers and no more free call forwarding and free services for our customers who have been so enjoying for the past 20 years.
